ModuResources USA Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Finance Assistant to become part of a true team environment with the preferred supplier of choice for Independent Third Party Rig Inspection and Well Intervention services.

We seek a highly ethical, energetic, self-driven accounting support professional with a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to the continued growth of our company.

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Americas, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and other general financial activity support as needed, as a means to support the Finance department’s accuracy and reporting to serve the company regionally and globally.

This member will be instrumental in the growth, compliance, and integrity of the company’s financial status.

Your Experience and Skillset Include:

  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)
  • At least 5 to 10 years accounting support experience
  • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and their related GAAP principles
  • Comfortable with using and navigating online portals for invoicing and supplier relation purposes
  • Advanced computer skills in the Microsoft suite of applications, with exceptional focus on Excel
  • Operates with accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with use and calculation of various currencies.
  • Sufficient math skills to handle financial data
  • Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality
  • Flexibility during audit / budget / tax seasons
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level Client management and internal senior level management.
  • Spanish as a second language is desirable, but not required.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Receive, code, and process Accounts Payable payments in a timely manner
  • Accurately develop and issue Accounts Receivable invoices
  • Collect on any past due receivables, and rectify and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.
  • Maintain and improve the organization’s bookkeeping processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
  • Adhere to and meet global and regional accounting policy requirements and deadlines.
  • Represent the MR brand professionally within the industry.
  • Participate in weekly meetings as a representative of the Finance department
  • Adhere to all applicable quality, business and customer processes, procedures and standards.
  • Other duties as required.

ModuResources USA is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to join our growing team.

 

Applications are currently open for a Client focused, innovative and passionate Technical Operations Manager to join our Americas business unit. The full-time role, based in our Houston office will be responsible for the management of the group’s technical operations and execution of the service deliverables.

The Position:

This challenging and rewarding role will lead a team of technical experts to support our Clients and staff across our global operations. The Technical Operations Manager plays a key role within the organisation and maintains the day to day operations for the group’s service lines including project execution, delivery and cost control.

Applicants should ideally be trade or degree qualified with a minimum of 10-15 years operational experience, be willing to travel as required, and possess good communication skills with a keen eye for detail. A good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written as well as computer literacy form important skills as part of the role.

  • Good operational background relating to drilling rigs and operations.
  • Familiar with regulations, standards and requirements applicable to the upstream oil and gas industry, particularly drilling and completions.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills with the Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level Client management and internal senior level management.
  • Demonstrated experience in liaison with Key Accounts and Client rrelationships.
  • Be willing to travel as required within the Americas, sometimes at short notice.
  • A valid driver’s license and personally insured, and reliable motor vehicle is required.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Represent the MR brand professionally within the industry.
  • Provide input into project costings and proposals.
  • Providing regular reports to Regional Director / General Manager.
  • Review technical business resources in conjunction with forecasted and actual activity.
  • Counsel and mentor direct reports.
  • Other duties as required.
