ModuResources USA seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

ModuResources USA Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Technical Business Development manager to become part of a true team environment with the preferred supplier of choice for Independent Third Party Rig Inspection and Well Intervention services.

We seek an energetic, self-driven and self-starter professional, with a well-developed network in the upstream oil and gas sector, primarily with Drilling Contractors and Operators. Your focus will be on the Oil & Gas Upstream Market in the Americas (including North and South America).

Reporting to the VP Technical Business Development - Americas, you will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships, new business development and implementation of sales strategy to meet company’s revenue targets.  Build long term relationships with key accounts that increase profitability of the group.

This member will be instrumental in the growth and direction of the company’s future. 

About you

Your Experience and Skillset Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)
  • At least 10 to 15 years Upstream Oil & Gas Market experience with Business Development, Account Management and Sales experience.
  • Good understanding of the works of a drilling rig and rig operations.
  • Familiar with regulations, standards and requirements applicable to the upstream oil and gas industry, particularly drilling and completions.
  • Experience in bid management through tenders and /or contract report writing
  • Expertise in commercial negotiations for service-based contracts.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Experience with social media marketing is desirable.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills with the Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level Client management and internal senior level management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Key Accounts and Client Relationship
  • The position involves candidate spending much of their time visiting current and prospective clients in the region to make sales calls individually and with colleagues.
  • Spanish as a second language is desirable.
  • Be willing to travel as required within the Americas, sometimes at short notice.
  • A valid driver’s license and personally insured, and reliable motor vehicle is required.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Represent the MR brand professionally within the industry.
  • Evaluate Market Conditions, prepare sales plans, forecasts and develop cost effective business development strategies for the region
  • Expand client base in the region whilst maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients even after the sale has been closed.
  • Solicit, follow up on, report and act on client feedback.
  • Meet sales goals, objectives and deadlines.
  • Track, analyze and report industry trends and economic activity
  • Manage and participate in proposal development, risk assessment and presentation to Clients
  • Maintain a comprehensive prospect & opportunity list using the Company CRM (Pipedrive)
  • Write detailed Client visit/engagement reports for all sales/business development activities.
  • Provide written weekly activity and sales reports in addition to monthly sales forecasts
  • Keep abreast of new technologies, specifications, and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicates information to senior management.
  • Actively participate in Industry sponsored trade shows, seminars, networking events and applicable marketing campaigns to promote the company’s suite of services.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and adhoc reports as required.
  • Adhere to all applicable quality, business and customer processes, procedures and standards.
  • Other duties as required.
