Lachlan was involved in ModuResources’ inception, opening the Perth Australia office and having previously worked across the Horizon Resources business units (HRI and Welltrain) in Australia and the Far East, including roles as Project Engineer, Manager Onshore Eastern Australia and General Manager Australia.

Lachlan holds Bachelor’s degrees in Geology (with honors) and Resource Economics from UWA in Perth, Australia. His honors degree involved extensive geological mapping in the southern districts of Timor Leste and after graduation he worked on land drilling campaigns in remote Australia.

Peter has an MBA and a BA (Hons) in Business Management along with an Electrical Engineering diploma. He is currently studying for a doctorate with Northumbria University in the UK, researching a new framework to achieve cultural alignment in mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas industry.

He started in oil and gas as a Senior Rig Electrician with Maersk and Santa Fe and later joined the largest independent rig inspection company as Senior Surveyor in 2006.

As part of the start-up team at ModuResources, Peter has played a major role in helping to expand the company which now has multiple offices around the globe. As part of the initial team that formed ModuResources in Singapore, Peter was tasked with driving the technical business development and hence starting the commercial system from ground zero. Peter implemented the CRM system, established the target clients, short, mid-term and long-term; in line with the ModuResources initial strategy and long term aims to become a market leader. Peter’s deep understanding of the market, aligned with the ModuResources strategy opened the door for ModuResources to win long-term contracts with companies such as Petronas, ExxonMobil, Shell, PTTEP, Husky etc. Peter’s ability to guide the initial commercial team and gain contracts with Super Majors, Majors, National and Independent Oil companies has given the company a commercial footing with which the team has been able to expand and build upon.

After starting his career in 1976 as a Marine Engineer with Nedlloyd Shipping and becoming a Chief Engineer with SMIT Lloyd on ocean towage, salvage and anchor handling vessels, Gerard joined the largest independent rig inspection business in the oil and gas industry in 1996 where he worked as a Senior Surveyor and Project Manager. During his time there, he mentored many surveyors and project team members.

In aligning the ModuResources group of companies, Gerard has been a driving force in knowledge management, helping to further build and strengthen the technical support group globally.

A UK-registered Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pat holds a BSc (First Class, Honours) in Mechanical Engineering and is a time-served Marine Engineer with a BP Tankers cadetship.

Pat started his in the oil and gas industry in 1983. He has worked on drillships, semi-submersibles, jack-ups, production platforms and land rigs during his career as a Rig Mechanic/Rig Engineer.

Having worked as a rig surveyor from 2000, Pat moved into project management in 2004, progressing to Engineering Manager with a team of 75 engineers and designers based in Blyth, Northumberland, UK. Pat subsequently returned to rig surveying in 2012 as Technical Manager.
